Afroditi (born in London in 1974) was raised not far from the Home of the Gods, Mount Olympus. She has studied in the very best design establishments, amongst which the Central St Martins College of Art and, later, the Royal College of Art under architect Ron Arad. She has worked in a number of the largest design agencies, designing products which have been sold in their millions. She was the first female designer employed by Seymour Powell and, at the age of 23, her redesign of the bra (Bioform) was filmed by Channel 4 and has since become a best-seller.
In 2002, Afroditi founded Afroditikrassa Ltd. Award-winning, dynamic and passionate, the work of the young designer immediately attracted the attention of big names such as Cassina and DKNY, as well as design lovers such as Mourad Mazouz (Momo) of the restaurant Sketch.
