Arik Levy was born in Tel Aviv in 1963.
In 1991, having graduated in industrial design from the Art Center Europe, Switzerland, he began working as a professional designer, participating in numerous artistic exhibitions. Arik Levy also works as a scenographer, working for renowned contemporary dance companies all over the world.
At Ldesign, the company he founded with Pippo Lionni in Paris in 1997, Arik Levy works on a variety of projects and prospective studies in the world of design. His mastery of materials, technology and production techniques permits him to interest himself in the widest possible variety of projects, touching on a multitude of disciplines, both in Europe and the rest of the world.
Since then, his concepts, design pieces and artistic creations have figured in various shows and exhibitions in museums, galleries and trade shows around the world. Pieces by Arik Levy can also be found amongst the permanent collections of the most prestigious museums.
