An Israeli designer (Tel Aviv 1976), living and working in Paris.

A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jérusalem, after a semester at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, Yair set out on a series of journeys as he began his career as a designer. In 2004 he took part in various exhibitions, including Galerie Périscope, Tel Aviv and 100% Design, London. In 2005, Bahavana, a rug made from polythene beads, a reflection on the traditional motif and its contemporary interpretation, was presented at the Triennale di Milano, at Designmai, Berlin, and at the Bella Center, Copenhagen. In 2006, he took part in the exhibition, 'Safe- Design Takes On Risk' at the MOMA, New York, and in 2007, the 'Biennale du design de Saint Etienne'.
