Julia Fullerton-Batten was born in Bremen, Germany. She spent most of her childhood in Germany and the United States, before moving to the United Kingdom when she was 16. She now lives in London. She has traveled extensively to many countries throughout the world both on holiday and professionally, including among others, China, India, Vietnam, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand.
Award-winning images taken during her sojourn in Vietnam gave her a successful kick-start to her professional career. Julia studied photography at the Royal Berkshire College of Art and Design. After work experience at Vogue magazine, she spent five years as a freelance assistant during which time she assisted many photographers covering a wide variety of different fields.
She started her professional career in 2000 and is now a well-established professional photographer, who has shot campaigns for big name advertising agencies around the world such as American Express, Galaxy, VISA, T-Mobile, Vodaphone, Canon, Barclays Bank, BT, Ford, Volkswagen, London Eye, John Lewis…
Besides her professional work, Julia has developed a body of personal fine art work that has won her widespread acclaim and numerous prestigious awards.
