The ‘ESTRAN’ designates the part of the shore which is uncovered at low tide. This name was chosen to highlight the mobility of the seat of this multifaceted settee. Thanks to its sophisticated mechanism the back can adopt two positions: · a low position, which creates no visual obstacle within a room and which confers elegance and majesty · a high position, where one can rest the head, which is favourable to reading, resting and home cinema. In complement to the above, the seat can move forward: thanks to a flexible, progressive mechanism, each of the two cushions can slide forwards by 16 cm to create a deep seat more suitable for relaxation. The mechanisms of the 2 seats and 2 backs are independent, thus allowing users to select from all possible functions. It is worth noting that when the two seat cushions are in the forward position, the result is a seat platform 210 cm in length (182 cm between the arms) and 90 cm in depth, which also does duty as a high quality occasional bed.

CONSTRUCTION & COMFORT Frame in panels of particleboard clad in polyether foam and 100 g/m2 polyester quilting, with integral elastic-webbed suspension. The two seats are rendered both independent and mobile by a system of aluminium rails sliding in polymer rings. The steel base and armrest supports are available in satin black or brilliant chromed finish. Seat cushions are in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 40 kg/m³ - 4.0 kPa and 32 kg/m³ - 2.5 kPa, clad in polyester fibre. Back cushions are filled with new duck feathers (90 % feathers/ 10 % down), compressibility H 88 mm, with compartmented liner. A feather-filled lumbar cushion is supplied systematically with each settee. An additional lumbar cushion may be ordered if desired. MAKING-UP Frame covers may be removed by a professional (NB except microfibres or leather).
