Aluchair

Ligne Roset is manufacturing the 260 Aluchair chairs which were designed by Jacques Ferrier for the French Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo (May - October 2010). This indoor/outdoor chair employs a combination of resistant materials such as aluminium and stainless steel for its base and injected plastic for its perforated shell (seat-back).

CONSTRUCTION
Structure, including rear foot, in laser-cut aluminium, with front foot in shaped stainless steel, all finished in satin-finish cream or satin-finish grey lacquer.

COMFORT
Perforated shell (seat/back) in injected plastic finished in satin-finish white lacquer where the shell is in cream, or mastic where the shell is in grey. Apart from the decorative effect, the perforated detailing on the shell brings a degree of flexibility which optimises the comfort on offer, and enables the rain to drain away when used outside.

MAKING-UP
The seat may be covered with an optional 5 mm thick matching wool pad (300 g/m2), which clips into 3 grooves in the shell via stitched rubber joining rings.
