So is a contemporary chair, the striking purity and simplicity of which almost make one forget its hieratic allure and innovative use of forms. So responds perfectly to this challenge : a chair, simple in the extreme but one which can never be overlooked ! All the more so does its comfort make not a single concession: the softness of its seat, procured by an elastic webbed suspension, is equalled only by that of the thermoformed ABS shell of the back. The delicacy of the chromed steel wire used for its base and its high tronconic back lighten the overall effect so that the So chair seems literally to launch itself skywards.

CONSTRUCTION
Seat in birch multi-ply. Tronconic back shell in thermoformed ABS. Cross-shaped base in brilliant-chromed steel wire Ø 11 mm.

COMFORT
Suspension of seat via elastic webbing. Seat in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 60 kg/m3 - 7.8 kPa. Back in Bultex foam 38 kg/m3 - 3.6 kPa.

MAKING-UP
Baguette stitching. Covers are held in place by velcro, and are removable.

Numerous possibilities (NB except technical impossibilities).
